Dr Karen Adey
Dr Karen Adey is an experienced General Practitioner with a particular focus on general medicine and health promotion. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. In addition to her MBBCh, she holds diplomas in both Child Health and Family Planning.
Karen has studied and worked internationally - most notably in the UK, where she was a principal doctor in a large medical centre near London. She has worked as an Emergency Doctor with the Ambulance Service, resulting in exposure to a wide range of experiences which have added to her expertise and flexibility.
Karen has strong academic interests having conducted medical research and lectured at the University of Cape Town. She enjoys keeping up-to-date with medical developments. She is an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
